Rules of Participation

General Rules

Eligibility for participation: Any Indian hair professional/ hairdresser/ salon owner/ salon employee/ professional freelancer
All participants must abide by the Competition Guidelines.
If the competitor’s e-mail is fake or phone number is incorrect, Organizers have the right to cancel their registration.
You must have an Instagram or Facebook handle and You must mention the correct handle when you submit your entry’s
Streax Professional employees, hairdressing students are not allowed.
Only one entry allowed per participant. Participant should choose the category & look he/she can portray her talent in the best way, for registration
Multiple team entries from the same salon are allowed.
Participants to Use only Streax Professional products for the competition which will be provided for at the venue
No hair pieces are allowed. No hair accessories accepted.
No hair tattoo allowed on the model
No touch-up/ digital distortion allowed on the entry created
The trophy/award will be in the name of the stylist & the respective salon.
The participant will not hold the organizers responsible or liable for any actions, claims, demands, losses, damages, costs, charges & expenses which a contestant may suffer, sustain or incur by way of this competition
The organizers are not responsible for any loss or physical injury that occurs to the participant on account of their participation in the competition
Schedule of events & qualification rounds are subject to change at the discretion of the organizers
Participants to use /get their own hair tools & bring along one volunteer model for the semi-final round in the competition
Streax Professionnel & Times Group reserves the right to modify/ change/ discontinue all or any of the terms applicable to this competition without assigning any reasons whatsoever

Volunteer Model Rules

Must be presentable
Must not have hair dye or henna coated hair
Ideal is to have virgin hair models
Models hair should not be prepped beforehand for the looks
Models should not back out on the day of the semi-final. If so, then the participants will get disqualified

Rules for Uploading Image

A total of 5 pictures must be uploaded. 1 frontal angle of Before shot and 4 angles of the look created (front, left & right sides & back) as per boxes.
Pictures must be against a plain white background. Any image uploaded with background of any other color will be disqualified.
The background should not have any other element; example – furniture, landscape, scenery, etc; in it.
Participants to use presentable models, with basic and appropriate make-up done on the model.
Picture should be taken in white top/clothes only no colorful garments to be worn.
The photo should be clear and captured of the models look shoulder level up.
The photo captured should have 60% or more of the image to be of the model face + hair to ensure we have a proper zoomed in shot which gives clear understanding of the hair style created
Each Image should be less than 5MB and in jpeg format only
Participants to ensure the final images do not get published on social media before the completion of the Competition
Failing one or any of the above criteria will lead to disqualification of the participant
